st louis

billy and i spent the weekend with amy, moose and orange billy in atlanta. i was starting to go nuts hanging out at miguels in the rain so we hopped in the car for a little road trip.

billy has taken really well to indoor life. he thinks that orange billy (a fat cat) is his litter mate and chases him around, pawing at him and trying to stand over him. billy has also been doing really well with moose (a 120 pound 9 year old black lab), getting "put in his place" only about once a day.

its been wonderful to hang out with amy for the weekend. she battled my dirtbag-climber scurvy and malnutrition with plenty of OJ and excellent home cooked meals. its been an absolute joy to hang out with a dear friend. and sleeping in a bed indoors ain't so bad either.

i'm in the airport in birmingham, alabama right now. billy is back at amy's house where he will stay for a few days. my grandmother died so i'm flying to st louis for the funeral and some family time. i'm pretty sad.
